During the 2020-21 School Year
We started offering our most popular shows in a virtual format:
THOMAS EDISON: Inventor Lecturer & Prankster
LEWIS & CLARK: A Celebration of Teamwork
MYTHS, FABLES & TALL TALES
Each show is forty-five minutes in length
Presented on the ZOOM platform and concurrently live-streamed on YouTube
(This can be modified after we speak with your school's IT Director)
The show can be personalized addressing your school by name!
Your show will be available on YouTube for FIVE days
after presentation for staggered schedules
and absent students.
There is a Pre-Show Packet for each show
Including activities, projects, pictures and
supplemental material used for activities within the show.
(Emailed to you two weeks prior. Method of distribution decided by each school.)
The show itself makes every attempt to fully use the advantages of a virtual platform:
Close-Ups, Remote Locations, Virtual Backgrounds, Music, PowerPoints, etc.
The audience participation and interaction
Which have been the hallmarks of HISTORY'S ALIVE!
Are simulated while maintaining the privacy of students on a web-based presentation .
NO NAMES! NO PICTURES! NO NOTHING!
After the show, there are fun worksheets and activities to reinforce lessons.
And we list online resources students (and teachers) can use
To further explore the presentation's characters, theme and story.
Teachers are able to submit audience questions by email,
Which will be answered by return email to teacher in a timely manner.
(Don't worry. We've been doing this a long time; we've heard every question you can think of!)
Live Q&A session available.
